Choir

This one was really fun to paint. I wanted to keep it somewhat loose, so I tried very hard not to obsess about detail. It took me quite a while to get the results I wanted, but it was worth it. I'm so happy with the way it turned out!

  1. Kari, what a magical piece! I really feel like I can feel and experience the thrill of the singing that is taking place, even without hearing the music, so I feel that you captured something very special, even beyond the literal beauty of light, color, softness, etc.

  11. This is really special. You kept the details to a minimum except in her face, so that the eye doesn't get caught up looking elsewhere. Very nice.
